Last year Psychic TV founding member and all-round cultural iconoclast Genesis P-Orridge was sadly diagnosed with Leukaemia and forced to cancel an upcoming tour. This Friday, during NYFW, designer Yang Li has teamed up with Genesis and Opening Ceremony for a special silent auction to raise funds for the musician’s ongoing treatment.

And get ready for this. The auction will feature rare memorabilia from both Genesis’ and Li’s personal collections, including limited edition and signed records, books, prints, and Li’s ongoing collection, SAMIZDAT, a line of imaginary band merch that has been dedicated to Genesis.

All the items will be exhibited at New York’s Ace Hotel from 30th August – 13th September, with the auction taking place on Friday 7th September from 6-8pm.
