There were many takeaways from Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* SS19 show: the clay-covered figures who acted as mysterious stage hands; the visceral finale that saw a water-filled polystyrene cube onto the runway smash into pieces to reveal a naked man in red body paint and a patent hood; and a collection that saw Ross flex his design muscles.
