Landing in LA from London, curators Undine Markus and Holly Rae Jones are bringing some major names to Ace Hotel for a special exhibition and panel. Titled Foreign Exchange, the all-day event is centred around exploring the visuals of the music industry, while helping to open up conversations and avenues for aspiring creatives to get involved.

From Tyler, the Creator chilling on a fire hydrant by Lusha Alic to Ashani’s image of Joey Bada$$ taking in the views while on tour across Asia, the exhibition draws together published and previously unreleased works by renowned music photographers to create a diverse view of music’s visual culture. Other musicians on display include Syd (The Internet), Princess Nokia, PartyNextDoor, Brent Faiyaz and Raye.

Taking over the LA venue for the entire day, the curator duo have also gathered an impressive array of industry reps who will be participating in a panel discussion sharing tips on creating and commissioning branded content, building a brand for visual artists and walking the intersection between fashion and music. Speakers include Kendrick Lamar’s creative director, Vlad Sepetov, Lana Del Ray’s consultant and founder of Indigo Projects Emily Hillgren, and a brand consultant from WildStyle LA.

Plus, with an all-female DJ after-party courtesy of streetwear brand Très Raschè, there’s plenty to keep you going late into the night.
