A perfect homage to her brother Gianni, the Versace FW18 menswear show saw Donatella cut and paste the house’s signature archival codes – animalia, baroque patterns and tartan – with bold aplomb, creating major looks that we’re still very much thinking about one season on.

And in a show where ‘more is more’ was the overriding M.O., never was this truer than with the footwear: designed by rapper 2 Chainz – whose music soundtracked the show – models stepped out in Versace’s new ‘Chain Reaction’ sneakers. Grounded on a moulded chain-link sole and featuring mismatched colours and heritage prints, the trainers come rendered in puff croc neoprene lining, while braille details on the toe read “Love”.

Scratched into attendees’ must-have wish lists, the wait is finally over as the trainers hit stores across the world. Our advice? Clear your wardrobes, clear your bank accounts and clear our path: we’ll take them all.
