Xmas wish list – all Christopher Shannon wants for Christmas is…
Christmas is barreling towards us like a derailed freight train and your headspace feels about as cool and collected as a turkey at 200 celsius. We feel you. But allow us to step in and save you some vital hours in the Christmas shopping rush (sharpen those elbows) via our Xmas wish lists lovingly curated by some of our favourite people.
Here, the Liverpool-born, London-based menswear heavyweight Christopher Shannon picks out his ideal Christmas wish list and he’s got very domesticated. Rugs, socks, candles and bath salts – oh, and a Louise Gray “Fucker” Tshirt, that’s more like it. (Us? We’ll take two of Chris’ SS18 “It’s Been Hours Now” sweats, thanks for asking.)

“I’d like the massive bottle. I go through it at such a rate. In the winter I wear the black one and in the summer there’s a couple of the blue ones I take away. All of them are so great. I’d also take a towel and the travel set too.”

“I love the candles they have at the Chateau Marmont and always nag friends to grab me them when they stay, so a batch of those would be nice.”
“I have been trying to make myself a better sleeper, so I have loads of magnesium baths which seem to help.”
“I get really jealous of this massive Caran d’Ache pencil set, I’ve been hinting for one for ages so many this year is the one. I like the idea of loads of colours to hand.”
“I have wanted a perfect rug for ages but the selection is so tricky I get nervous. Mansour has a great selection and I’m quite into this.”
“It’s really nice to start the year with all new underwear and socks and I am prone to Sunspel.”
“I do find acupuncture takes the edge off things. Marian Fixler is the best I’ve found so some sessions there would be great.”
