Colette pop-up

Saint Laurent is dropping a special range of skateboards, vespas and fetish gear

Next month, the Parisian concept store Colette will shut its doors for the final time. But the mother-daughter team Colette Roussaux and Sarah Andelman are going out with a bang, hosting a series of pop-up takeovers running up to that final date: 20th December.

Following pop-ups from Balenciaga, Chanel, and Sacai, Saint Laurent will be the last to occupy the legendary Rue St.-Honoré space. And Anthony Vaccarello is taking his closing slot seriously, bringing some limited edition and highly covetable co-signed goods to the table.

For those with bulging wallets, there’s an epic all-black Vespa – Saint Laurent style – while the store will also stock a crystal-embellished motorcycle helmet made with Ruby, custom vintage Polaroid camera, lighters, a leopard-print Arkaic Concept skateboard, Bang & Olufsen speakers, Baccarat jewels and a collaborative box of Pierre Marcolini chocolates.

While clothing includes tees and sweatshirts featuring musical icons Patti Smith, Axl Rose, Depeche Mode, Bryan Ferry and Blondie, heart-embossed bags and wallets, you can also get your hands on a calendar with #YSL12 pictures by David Sims and three studded, heart-shaped leather riding crops – meant for the bedroom, we’re told…
