Kenzo‘s creative directors, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have tapped Orange is the New Black actress Natasha Lyonne to take the helm as a first-time director for the brand’s latest short, Cabiria, Charity, Chastity.

Starring Maya Rudolph in the central role of Chastity, she embarks upon a surrealistic journey, making peace with her previous Vaudevillian life in order to face her new and uncertain future. Alongside Rudolph, the talent featured includes former Saturday Night Live comedian Fred Armisen, child-star Macaulay Culkin, Greta Lee, James Ransone, and Leslie Odom Jr., among others.

Cabiria, Charity, Chastity is set to be released on the 1st of September, in the meantime, Casper Sejersen’s shots of the campaign showcases the peculiar and otherworldly atmosphere of Kenzo’s FW17 collection, accentuating the artful craft of Arianne Phillips’ costume designs.
