A Berlin summer will leave you peeling yourself up off the pavement. Which is why you reconnect with nature and spend days déshabillé diving into ponds and pools to keep cool.

The boys of Berlin fashion week SS14 might’ve given up that freedom for a few days, but they still kept a clothes off, clothes on lifestyle getting dressed for shows by Sissi Goetze, Sopopular, Ivanman and Vladimir Karaleev. In a year’s time these designers’ offerings will become part of summer in this city too, worn unbuttoned to the hilt or tossed aside in the shade until it’s time to smarten up at dusk.
