Killa Bees, listen up! Wu-Tang have returned with their first single in six years. Featuring Nicole Bus, Method Man and Ghostface Killah, Claudine, sees Wu-Tang return to their best. Against a soulful beat, the track dives into an emotive story of love and loss, elevated by Nicole Bus’ rich vocals.
Claudine marks a milestone for the group, who celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal debut record, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), and is written in ode to John Berry’s 1974 blaxploitation film featuring Diahann Carroll and James Earl Jones.
“Claudine was made as a dedication to my mother as well as an ode to all mothers, wives and young women, reflecting their struggle, strength, courage and love,” shares Mathematics, Wu-Tang’s longtime DJ.
Wu-Tang are currently on tour across North America.
