Gucci announces a five-percent increase in profits, indicative of Michele’s stellar impact
By Lewis Firth | Fashion | 22 February 2016

Alessandro Michele’s creative thwack is attestable among many, if not all, and today’s announcement from Kering (the house’s parent company) that they have seen a five-percent increase in its profits during the last three months of last year backs it up.

And it all stems from the holistic vision and sharp imagination of the newly appointed designer. As reported by the BBC, Michele has lifted Gucci out of a several-year profit-slump and into the realm of universal adoration by industry experts and shoppers alike.

Since Autumn, Michele’s debut collection for the Italian icon has been available for purchase, and consumers have clearly been rushing to get a piece of the brand’s freshest vocabulary and whimsical pieces.
