Co-founded by London-based duo Imran Ciesay and Solomon Boyede, Places + Faces is an interdisciplinary creative venture encompassing photography, zines, merch and mixtapes. Their recent second issue moved across Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul and London, featuring Jorja Smith, Desiigner, Migos, Giggs, and the late Lil Peep.

The new venture with Nike is not only a nod to their streetwear design nous but also the raw, low light photography that has become their signature. The shirt therefore, not only adopts the Places + Faces insigna but 3M gradient stripes that light up when exposed to flash photography – in reference to the platform’s origins.

“We wanted to work with Nike on this specific collaboration because we liked the of creating something that will be apart of a historical moment in time which is the Women’s World Cup,” said the co-founders. “With this collaboration we wanted to make something that was unique but also true to the P+F brand, which is why we incorporated 3M into the jersey but we blended it to make it invisible so you don’t notice it straight away.”

Nike x Places + Faces is launching soon online and in-store.
