Bran Van 3000 soundtracked a show that studied sport through a Cali surf lens. It was an appropriate beat, driving forward the impact of oversized cuts and an emphasis on silk foulard, jacquards and vivid prints cast across shirting and underscoring the strong outline of rust and dove grey tailoring.

A skeletal palm frond motif appeared in rustic orange and green-gold sweaters, while duster coats and check accented bombers played off each other’s contrasts beautifully.  In shades of brown and moss, such patterns continued to paint the rounded shoulders of more relaxed outerwear grounded in tasseled leather sandals, the result of Maria Camillo’s recent trip down the West coast.
