Exclusive: McQ Alexander McQueen gets back to the future with a digital SS16 presentation
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 18 September 2015

Presenting SS16 McQ Alexander McQueen have utilised the talents of three young trailblazing creatives, Jack Davison, Lea Colombo and Sharna Osborne, reinterpreting the collection via a series of lo-fi video shorts, character studies and detail shots.

All set in the crypt of Spitalfield’s Christ Church (the dramatic setting for Alexander McQueen’s FW96 Dante show) the series takes influence from New York’s Post Punk ‘No Wave’ cultural movement. A scene that defined the harsh 70s New York zeitgeist, a radical reaction to the clean cut mainstream sound.

Get back to the future, check our exclusive first look at a special set of Jack Davidson’s shots plus more from the series. Then head to McQ.com to check out the full visual project, live now.
