Timeless
When Girard-Perregaux launched the Casquette watch in 1976 it was regarded as a bold innovation in watch design. The unorthodox timepiece, which boasted a digital display in a titanium casing, broke with the conservative norms of Haute Horlogerie and went on to define the era.
Now, Girard-Perregaux have teamed up with Saint Laurent Rive Droite to produce a new interpretation of the iconic Casquette. Anthony Vaccarello has re-edited this model in black ceramic and black PVD-treated grade 5 titanium. The light, ergonomic case arches around the wrist, offering comfort, while the watch is equipped with a chronograph and can also display the time in a different location. Nifty.
You’ll have to be quick if you want to pick up a Casquette 2.0 Saint-Laurent 01 though, the model is limited to just 100 pieces and exclusively available in Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles, as well as online via the official Saint Laurent Rive Droite store, in selected countries only.
