Rarely seen without a pair of adidas three-stripes, Liam Gallagher is pairing up with the sportswear brand to place his own stamp on the Spezial silhouette once again. After forming a close friendship with Spezial founder Gary Aspden and as a loyal fan of the brand, their first collaboration arrived in 2019 in the form of the original LG SPZL shoe. Aptly named LG2 SPZL, this latest style is an even truer nod to Gallagher’s inimitable look. 

First announced with an intimate concert hosted by the brand in Blackburn’s King George’s Hall back in April where Gallagher took to the stage in his new SPZL footwear, now we can all get a pair – available from 22nd July.

Exploring shades of white and contrasting materials, the differing tones see a chalk-white nylon upper sat atop a grey midsole with light-grey flocked stripes. The neutral shoe is accented with adidas Originals’ classic Bluebird Pantone refashioned with an epic ‘Endorsed by Liam Gallagher’ portrait graphic on the tongue. Combining archival styles with the musician’s singular perspective, this collaboration is an ode to the signature aesthetic Gallagher has crafted since Oasis first arrived on the Britpop scene in 1991.

The LG2 SPZL will be available on CONFIRMED from July 22nd.
