A new immersive, multi-sensory exhibition celebrating the life and work of raggae legend Bob Marley is coming to London’s Saatchi Gallery early next year before going on a multi-city tour.

Titled Bob Marley: One Love Experience, the experience is designed to transport audiences to different aspects of Marley’s eminent career. In the One Love Music Room, giant art installations celebrate Marley’s accolades, while a multi-sensory experience can be discovered in the One Love Forest and audiences can lose themselves in a unique listening experience at the Soul Shakedown Studio. The Saatchi are also giving fans the opportunity to submit their own artwork commemorating Marley to be featured alongside previously unseen photographs and memorabilia.

Such is Marley’s influence, both musically and culturally, the announcement comes at a time when Marley’s life is being bought to the stage in London’s West End as Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical continues its run at Lyric Theatre. Like the exhibition, this too is endorsed by the musician’s family, his daughter Cedella Marley said: “We’ve been wanting to launch a Bob Marley touring exhibit for many years and we’re thrilled to see it come to life and debut in London, which had a very special place in Daddy’s heart.” The exhibition is on a limited ten-week run in the city and tickets go on sale this Friday.

The One Love Experience opens on February 1st 2022 at the Saatchi Gallery. Tickets go on sale on Friday 19th November.
