Prince of prints: Supreme collaborates with Emilio Pucci
By Alex James Taylor | 7 June 2021

Supreme’s latest collaboration sees the streetwear giants team with Florentine fashion house Emilio Pucci.

Blending their aesthetics, Supreme’s casual silhouettes are adorned with abstract, geometric shapes synonymous with Don Emilio Pucci – dubbed the “Prince of prints” – drawn from the Mediterranean landscape and lifestyle. The collection expands into a smoking jacket, track jacket, shirts, hoodie, sports pants, sweatpants, shorts and tees, as well as the usual array of Supreme accessories including sunglasses, belts a 6-panel cap, belt and Zippo lighter. A special football jersey completes the collection just in time for the start of UEFA Euro 2020.

Having teased imagery over the last few weeks, the collaboration was finally confirmed via an Instagram post showing skater and producer Sage Elsesser wearing a matching shirt and short combo from the collection. Shot by David Sims, the full lookbook imagery can be seen below.

An avid skier and athlete, Emilio Pucci lived a jet-set lifestyle that found its forte when the designer created a streamlined ski outfit in 1947, applying tailoring techniques to the sport’s practical elements. From there, he opened a boutique on Capri selling colourful and chic resort clothing that embodied the island’s stunning, natural aesthetic. Remixed within Supreme’s contemporary vision, Pucci’s designs become a vibrant symbol of new youth, fusing sportswear with tailoring for a stand-out collection.

The Supreme x Emilio Pucci Spring 2021 collaboration will be available on the Supreme website from 10th June.
