Alessandro Michele will show his next Gucci collection in Los Angeles on November 3rd 2021.

Continuing a series of special happenings and unveilings organised to celebrate the house’s Centenary year, Michele heads to the US six years after he showed his debut Cruise collection at the Dia-Art Foundation in New York City. According to the accompanying press release, Los Angeles is “a city that continues to provide [Michele] a constant source of inspiration and which has played a significant role in Gucci’s hundred-year history.” The show will coincide with the 10th LACMA Art+Film Gala taking place on 6th November, for which Gucci is the founding and presenting sponsor.

Last year, Gucci opened its first-ever restaurant on Los Angeles’ iconic Rodeo Drive. Named Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills, the restaurant sits on the roof of the house’s boutique and serves California-inspired Italian food created by Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura. Post-show grub: sorted.
