Alien invasion

Dior’s sci-fi Fall 2021 menswear collection lands at Selfridges

Last December Kim Jones took us interstellar, sharing a Fall 2021 Dior menswear collection populated by strange toothy critters that gathered across garments courtesy of a collaboration with US painter Kenny Scharf. Known for his fantastical and futuristic compositions, here Scharf’s sci-fi cartoons communicate with Jones’ cosmic beatniks.

Now, as part of a series of pop-up stores across the world, Dior’s collection lands in London at Selfridges Corner Shop. Bringing the collection’s world into our own, the space will be populated by Scharf’s alien friends, who take form as strange sculptures, giant balloons and 3-D stickers alongside immersive screens. The pop-up will also house exclusive products from the Fall 2021 show, including the new b27 sneakers and knitwear featuring the twelve Chinese zodiac signs translated by Scharf exclusively for the collection.

The Dior Fall21 Men’s Pop-Up @ The Selfridges Corner Shop is open now.
