Kim Jones releases Dior’s first ever ski collection

Kim Jones is taking Dior to the slopes via the house’s first-ever ski capsule. Combining technical fabrics with Dior’s luxury savoir-faire, the collection boasts a line-up that provides everything but the skills.

Designed in close collaboration with established Japanese ski brand Descente, ready-to-wear is crafted from eco-responsible nylon and filled with ethically-sourced feathers. Including puffer jackets, ski pants, windbreakers, gloves and heavy-knit sweaters, high-performance materials are given a dash of Parisian luxe by the way of bold graphics and subtle tailoring details. Sweaters are emblazoned with Dior motifs, elsewhere reflective materials give the collection a retro-futuristic edge. All crafted from eco-responsible nylon and filled with ethically-sourced feathers.

In terms of equipment, it’s top-quality, featuring bespoke skis and snowboards made in collaboration with Swiss company AK, while Jones worked with Swedish brand POC on a branded helmet for luxury damage control.
