Louis Vuitton has put a giant duck inside Selfridges
Fashion | 1 September 2020

In May this year, Virgil Abloh announced LV2, his first collaboration at Louis Vuitton since taking the helm, teaming up with legendary Japanese designer Nigo on a special fusion of luxury codes that envisioned a London Mod-era dandy through a Tokyo lens. Now, the Parisian house unveils a pop-up store inside London’s Selfridge’s dedicated entirely to the LV2 collaboration.

Located alongside Louis Vuitton’s permanent Selfridges concept stores, the LV2 pop-up stocks the full capsule line-up, from ready-to-wear through leather goods, shoes and accessories. And it’s difficult to miss. Rendered in bright sunshine yellow, the store is decorated with an LV drum kit, lifelike mannequins, stacked speakers and a large duck that brings together the two worlds of Nigo and Louis Vuitton – a smaller paperweight version is available to buy and take home.
