Jonathan Anderson joins the V&A board of trustees

Jonathan Anderson has been appointed as one of four trustees on the board of the V&A, beginning a four-year tenure that commences on 4th February 2019.

A major appointment for Anderson, an avid advocate of the arts. within this new role, the British designer will meet with the other trustees six times a year to provide ad hoc advice and attend events held at the renowned London museum. Anderson joins analyst Marc St John, restorer David Bomford and art and culture expert Genevieve Davies on the board.

“I am inspired by art and artists every day, and thus I am honoured and humbled to join the board of such an impressive and important British institution,” said Anderson of the appointment.
