Palace and Adidas hit the court for a Wimbledon-inspired collection

For those suffering a serious bout of World Cup Fever, yesterday’s opening day of Wimbledon may have slipped your attention. However, drawing our attention from the pitch to the court, Adidas and Palace have teamed up to create the ultimate doubles team. Together, they have raided Adidas’ considerable tennis archives for a collaborative, Centre Court-ready collection that’s causing quite a racket (sorry not sorry).

Because regardless of whether you’re a seasoned Henman Hill-er or have never even heard the grunt of a Williams sister, this collection will have something for you. A bucket hat, a large brolly, plenty of white socks – bar the Federer headband and the actual tennis racket and balls, you’re pretty much sorted.

This is also the first foray into womenswear for Palace, who are exploring new ground with three looks consisting a dress, a tank top with shorts and a tee/skirt combo. Starring London skater Blondey McCoy and shot by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign imagery taps into classic Wimbledon scenes of exhaustion, euphoria, heartbreak and triumph.

The Adidas Tennis x Palace collection will be available from 3rd July.
