Just when you thought that London’s menswear scene will be taking a breather after last week’s London Fashion Week Mens, Louis Vuitton’s Kim Jones is stepping in to keep the spirits high.

Taking over an exclusive pop-up space at Selfridges, Louis Vuitton has brought a taste of the tropics to London by creating a space inspired by the idea of exotic islands and travel. The inspiration stems from the same place as the house’s SS18 collection, remember it? All Aloha shirts, bucket hats and puka shell necklaces set to the beat of an original track by Drake.

The Tropicana-themed takeover also boasts a few extra special items. A global exclusive line will be stocked, consisting of a Hawaiian printed shirt, a bomber jacket and a t-shirt with reflective panelling, while an exclusive accessory drop featuring LV’s monogram backpacks and keepalls in silver will also be hot property. Oh, and LV branded surfboards will be on sale for those brave enough to tackle the waves in this Winter London climate.

Louis Vuitton pop-up at Selfridges will be open between 10th January and 28th February.
