Archy Marshall

King Krule returns with hazy new track, Czech One
By Alex James Taylor | Music | 23 August 2017

After various teasers including mysterious posters and a cryptic video, Archy Marshall has released new track, Czech One, the first new music under his King Krule pseudonym since 2013’s critically acclaimed, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon.

Directed by Frank Lebon, the accompanying video – featuring Archy contemplating life aboard a red-eye flight – matches the track’s hazy, lo-fi ambiance. As lounge piano plays, Archy’s distinctive croons set the scene for his new material: “To when and where the stars were formed, that glance upon this night / lightyears to sit upon and paint us as we lie.

Czech One will be available as the A-Side to a limited edition 7” coming out 13th September 13th on XL Recordings / True Panther Sounds, which can be preordered here.

King Krule has also announced a worldwide tour, dates are available here.
