Fendi have a shiny new home in Harrods. On the department store’s first floor, the Italian house have just celebrated the opening of their fully refurbished boutique, which has been expanded by 50 square metres. The boutique is now divided into three spaces: two rooms where the ready-to-wear collections are on full display, and a private VIP room for one-on-one client consultations.

In the main showroom, a new artwork by the French sculptor and ceramicist Olivia Cognet makes a grand statement. The piece was commissioned specifically for the space and references the brand’s trademark mix of the classical with the contemporary. Elsewhere, marble tables have been designed by Milan-based designer Roberto Sironi.

The renovation comes during a milestone year for Fendi, as the house celebrates its centenary. It also follows the exciting announcement that Maria Grazia Chiuri will join the brand as chief creative officer, overseeing the collections from next year.
