Todd Snyder’s FW17 line served as a throwback to the pre-digital campus world of Gen X; an American student’s life in an era uncomplicated by the Internet and all that it encapsulates.

Preppy looks came in a palette of moss greens and rich coppers, inspired by thrift shop finds. Grunge flannels, tracksuit jackets, and camel duffle coats appeared alongside cashmere turtlenecks presented in slouchy silhouettes and exaggerated features including oversized pockets and ribbing on knits – all very Good Will Hunting. Whilst velvet trousers and cord blazers gave kudos to geography teachers worldwide.

The collection also featured the latest additions to the designer’s ongoing collaboration with NY-based sportswear brand Champion, with a velour tracksuit giving major 90s Juicy Couture vibes.
