Last season saw Massimo Giorgetti feeling regal, taking inspiration from Queen Lizzie and hit Netflix show The Crown. Five months later, the designer’s mood board couldn’t be more different, filled with references to those halcyon years of nineties London.

The decade’s influence ran deep. Hawaiian shirts evoked DiCaprio circa Romeo + Juliet,  athletic gear took us back to Euro ’96, and Lennon Gallagher (the new face of MSGM) walked the show, reminding us that the Gallaghers are the true faces of 90s royalty.

Loose forms dominated the catwalk, elevated by a vivid palette inspired by the Venice Beach sunset, whilst bold logos were plastered across shorts, accessories and sweats. Bowling shirts, knitted ponchos and flared trousers hinted at 70s nostalgia, whilst camo jacket and short-combo did anything but blend in, and the pièce de résistance? A special hand-painted anorak worn by Master Gallagher as Dick Dale’s rolling Night Rider riff played out.
