“It’s the story of a young nomad, pushed from place-to-place in search of a home, finally finding what he’d been searching for,” says Lou Dalton of her SS14 collection.

Three members of the Royal Air Force were on the front row to see the G-Shock Premium watches they’d designed worn by Dalton’s models, as aircraft and cockpit graphics were printed on inside-out tailoring and shorts to match.

To the strains of an instrumental mix of The Smiths’ How Soon Is Now and Bauhaus’ Bela Lugosi’s Dead, two t-shirts Dalton offered went on sale in Liberty immediately afterwards.

Fast fashion: not just for megabrands, then. Fighter pilots take delivery to mach 3.
