Kitted out in Nike footwear, John Elliot’s jungle fever hit with full force as sweat drenched models slunk down the runway in militaristic ensembles of whites, blues, greys and, of course, khaki. The collection tapped into Elliott’s experiences running through Vietnam, merging sportswear with the designer’s own jungle twist. Linen, jersey, training fabrics and suedes layered to form looks situated between the gym and the road.

Post-trek deconstruction detailing featured added a sense of hardship to proceedings, rips, reserve seams and frayed edges emphasised that these are clothes meant for wearing. Active and urban, Elliott’s soldiers come prepared.
