Iceberg SS20
Fashion | 9 June 2019

Showing on UK soil, Iceberg’s SS20 show was all about iconic British fashion tribes. Since the appointment of James Long as creative director in 2015, the Italian brand debuted on London men’s schedule last year and the city plays an important role again this season, with the King’s Road punks, South Kensington Goths and hoorays of Knightsbridge all serving as inspiration for the new SS20 collection.

First on the co-ed runway were looks created with renowned British pop artist, Peter Blake, the man famed for the Beatle’s Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. The collaboration marks the first in a forthcoming series between Blake and the brand under the ICEBERG ART DENIM banner. Here, Blake’s seminal works Babe Rainbow, Amerika and those synonymous red hearts adorned garments in head-to-toe patterns.

An all-black trouser and bomber combo offered a sporty take on goth, while a black tailored look paired with mesh shirting and silver chains spoke of punk’s finest.
