Inverse playfulness

Fur lined the Fendi runway, an indication of the textural collection that was to come in the brand’s first menswear show since ’09.

Materials were inversed in a playful test of the traditional, leather lining fur jackets and piping the edges of sculpted coats. Fur was indeed the catch-cry of the show, from mink v-necks to full-blown fur coats and mittens adding the zest of a little fetish.

The true star here was textural experimentation: neoprene was molded to look like crocodile while cashmere sweaters played the same patterned game.
