Virtual reality

Canadian designer Devon Halfnight LeFlufy’s ‘Selected Feelings’ collection took a 21st century stance on a 1970’s look. Incorporating the latest in Samsung’s virtual reality technology into his presentation, androgynous models wore flares, cowboy style boots covered in photos of women’s faces, printed faces and patterned floaty silk shirts and patent leather trench length coats. Each model was aligned alongside a TV screen with a ‘Selected Feelings’ strap draped across them.

Guests were invited to put the virtual reality goggles, and step into the realm of the designer’s immersive quirky collection, zeroing out all other attendees in the room. An innovative performance, testament to a designer who is constantly pushing the boundaries and creating new ways to blend fashion with modern day technology.
