First looks
As we all wait with bated breath for Raf Simons‘ debut Calvin Klein collection, yesterday we were given the first glimpse into the Belgian designer’s vision for the US brand via ‘Calvin Klein By Appointment’, a new made-to-measure collection that will “celebrate American women and American fashion.”

Shot by Simons’ long-time collaborator and friend Willy Vanderperre, the imagery starred Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, actress Abbey Lee Kershaw and models Lineisy Montero, Kiki Willems, Natalie Westling, Selena Forrest and Tessa Bruinsma. “It is the character that is our source of inspiration; It reflects a woman who assumes herself and who can be herself in her clothes,” says Pieter Muller, creative director of Calvin Klein.
“Cheerleader, debutante, cheerleader: under the sign of American pragmatism and with a playful pop iconography.”

“The credits, different people give life to this idea chosen for what they are and for their essential character. Whether they are famous or unknown, all are treated in the same way,” reads a statement on the brand’s website.
