Raf Simons
will show his upcoming FW17 men’s show during New York Fashion Week, instead of his usual spot in Paris.

Given Simons’ new role as creative director for NY brand Calvin Klein, this announcement makes sense given the Belgium designer will be spending a lot of time in the Big Apple. This is the very first time Simons will be showing his eponymous line here.

Although Simons usually shows during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, last season saw him relocate to Florence as he showed as part of Pitti Uomo, joining Gosha Rubchinskiy on the bill to celebrate the event’s 90th anniversary.

Taking place on 1st February, Simons’ show is a major addition to the New York Fashion Week: Men’s calendar, joining the likes of Gypsy Sport, Tommy Hilfiger, Robert Geller and Coach.
