“Are you ready to get fucked, man?” That’s right, The Big Lebowski’s Jesus Quintana (aka. the creepiest man in ten-pin bowling) is back with his own spin-off film.

Actor John Turturro has long expressed his ambition to create a film centred around his iconic character, and now, following reports that filming has began in New York, it seems like it’s definitely in the works. Having carried the working title of 100 Minutes with Jesus, the project is now known as Going Places and boasts an impressive cast list including Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou and Susan Sarandon (plus, Jeff Bridges is set to make a special cameo as everyone’s favourite Dude).

Inspired by Bertrand Blier’s 1974 comedy Les valseuses, the plot sees Cannavale starring opposite Turturro as a fellow thief named Petey, with the two vying to give a woman (Tautou) her first orgasm; Sarandon completes the foursome as an ex-con who just got out after a long stint in prison. Big Lebowski creators Joel and Ethan Coen are not thought to be creatively involved in Going Places, having previously shown little interest in the project: “Turturro keeps urging us to do the ‘Jesus’ spin-off of his character,” Ethan Coen told Empire earlier this year, before adding sarcastically, “Yeah, uh huh…”

We for one can’t wait to see that purple one-piece and black hairnet combo back on our screens, remember: “Nobody fucks with the Jesus!”
