David Lynch has curated his own festival

Today, David Lynch announced that he is to curate the first ever Festival of Disruption, a two-day event taking place at the Ace Hotel in LA this October.

Drawing from friends, fans, collaborators and idols, Lynch brings together a stellar line-up that crosses through music performances, film screenings, talks and exhibits. So, who’s on the bill? St. Vincent, Sky Ferreira, Angelo Badalamenti (performing the music of Twin Peaks), Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters, Xiu Xiu, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Jon Hopkins will all be performing live, whilst Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, legendary director Mel Brooks, Twin Peaks actors Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern, and architect Frank Gehry will all be giving talks across the two days.

With 100 percent of the proceeds going to the David Lynch Foundation – helping victims of trauma – there’s absolutely no excuse not to buy a ticket. Glastonbury? We’ll take Lynchfest any day.

The Festival of Disruption takes place 8th-9th October, for more information and tickets visit here.
