Stella McCartney is set to expand into menswear
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 17 June 2016

Stella McCartney has confirmed rumours that she is set to expand her eponymous label into menswear.

Having launched her brand in 2001, McCartney has gone on to become one of Britain’s most celebrated designers. Over those years, the 44-year-old has only ever created one-off menswear pieces for her dad, her husband, David Bowie, and the 2014 British olympic team – if tiny speedos are your clothing preference.

Set to be unveiled at a London presentation on November 10, alongside her womenswear line, this new venture will feature “seasonless’ men’s apparel, and – in line with McCartney’s signatures – will be fur-free and leather-free. “My time on Savile Row inspired so much of what I do, and it feels like the right moment to talk to men and give them what they deserve,” McCartney told the New York Times. “I want to deliver to men what I deliver to women.”
