The Pitti Uomo powers that be have announced Gosha Rubchinskiy as the guest designer at this year’s 90th anniversary event.

Following in the footsteps of previous guests, including Moschino, Hood By Air and White Mountaineering, Rubchinskiy will debut his SS17 collection with a presentation, during which he will also unveil a special photo project (a medium the Russian designer is well versed in).

Having recently told WWD that the spring collection would mark a change in direction for his brand, this is an exciting new development for one of the most anticipated shows of each season.
