Today, Diesel Black Gold introduced us to its new Type-2614 jeans in the form of a series of monochrome photos starring twins Wyatt and Fletcher Shears of LA band The Garden, shot by Yvan Fabing.

Featuring an extra-long 5-pocket style, the super stretch fabric comes worked with a pressing treatment in order to obtain a unique wrinkled effect. “I created Type-2614 with the idea of adding texture to a long lean silhouette,” says Diesel Black Gold creative director Andreas Melbostad. “By cutting the jeans extra-long and then crushing them, we gave new dimension and movement to the leg.   

Melbostad was first intrigued by the Wyatt twins’ “energy and irreverent attitude…the way they challenge established norms and blur boundaries with their own unique style, perfectly embodies the attitude of the new Type-2614,” added Melbostad.
