London based producer Pharaoh rose to radio consciousness as one half of TØMB when the bass-heavy duo recently put out their kicking remix of Rihanna’s BBHMM. (Have a listen, it’s a banger). Now he’s stepped out of the studio and in front of the lens for Original Penguin’s latest project.

The iconic American sportswear brand has recruited a handful of London creatives including Pharaoh, local sneaker customiser Adam Claridge and designer Christopher Gove, shot by Jonathan Daniel Pryce in the new heritage-driven capsule collection The Leisure Club.

The collection itself was inspired by 1950s and 60s fabrics and textures and harks back to the roots of the Perry Ellis-owned brand. Originally a military and underwear supply company in 50s, Penguin became a household name (as did its much-loved ‘Pete’ the Penguin logo) via its mainstay golf shirt. Eighteen holes and the rest is history.
