Louis Vuitton’s latest ski capsule includes a snowboard and skis
Fashion | 5 October 2023

Louis Vuitton head back to the slopes for the Maison’s latest LV Ski capsule collection. Designed by the Louis Vuitton Pret-a-Porter Homme Studio prior to Pharrell Williams taking over as men’s creative director, the collection expands the house’s ongoing skiwear wardrobe.

Applying Louis Vuitton’s eminent craft to technical sportswear, the collection is distinguished by the LV Flocon logo – the design twisting the traditional Monogram flower with a snowflake shape. Cast in deep, glacial tones,  the capsule includes slim ski suits, knit layers, ski pants and contoured leggings. Outerwear puffer jackets are essential, as are Monogram helmets and ski masks. Shearling decorates footwear and accessories, across backpacks and a technical reinterpretation of the brand’s classic Keepall, while trimmed Capucine bags, trunks, Chelsea boots and the slip-on LV Easy speak of après-ski cocktails by the fire. The collection is completed by a snowboard handmade in the French Alps and decorated with a glacier grey pattern and red underside, alongside a pair of Monogram skis. Three, two, one, go!
