Zegna’s Triple Stitch Sneakers are built for Italian mountain walks
Fashion | 29 August 2022

Zegna‘s FW22 collection – A Path Worth Taking – was presented as against a video backdrop of Italy’s epic Biellese Alps. The history behind the concept: a native of the area, in the 1930s the Italian house’s founder set up Oasi Zegna, an initiative to preserve the local beauty and build a panoramic road that runs through the location, offering sweeping views while connecting communities.

It’s on this very road that the house’s current artistic director Alessandro Sartori presents his latest iteration of Zegna’s signature Triple Stitch sneaker. This time around, the footwear is reimagined in earthy, colour-block tones, rendered in rich-grained leather, canvas or plush suede and finished with the hallmark triple crossing-elastic detail. Paired with the collection’s stark, deconstructed tailoring and versatile take on leisurewear, it’s a combo fit for an Italian mountain stroll.
