Tod’s Academy is back supporting young designers with their Re-Generation project
By Ella Joyce | Fashion | 9 February 2022

Continuing their commitment to platforming a roster of young designers set to rise up through the ranks, Italian house Tod’s are extending the second edition of their Academy project onto home soil. Having previously collaborated with London’s Central Saint Martins to give 35 aspiring designers the chance to reinterpret the brand’s archive pieces, this time around the focus is on the future of sustainability. Partnering with Istituto Marangoni based in Milan and Florence who specialise in art, fashion and design, twenty young talents have been tasked with developing collection proposals for a capsule that refashions the brand’s iconic codes in an environmentally conscious way.

Pioneering new talent, the Tod’s Academy focuses on harbouring a set of ideas where new-wave thinking meets expertise spanning over a century’s worth of creativity – scroll through some of the students’ artistic processes and creations below.

Check out the student’s collections via a digital exhibition over on tods.com.
