As part of a new denim capsule, Silvia Venturini Fendi is giving our favourite sturdy fabric a sporty facelift, Fendi style.

Launching their Men’s Winter Capsule this Friday, the brand’s artistic director of accessories and menswear wanted to do something a little bit different by upending traditional associations with the heritage fabric – and here’s your exclusive HERO preview. 

Starting with a range of outerwear staples, Fendi’s modern take on denim spans dark, multipanel caps adorned with huge boxy labels, double-breasted suit jackets with billowing side slits, and puffy, shearling-lined bomber’s with jacquard weave pocket patches. 

Marking a new and wholly contemporary direction for the brand, the capsule would be remiss not to include a slew of signature blue bottoms, of which there are plenty. From Carrot fit through to skinny and regular, Fendi have cropped, lowered and even pinced their striking wears into submission, breathing a sporty formality back into such casual clobber.
