Sadly, due to the current quarantine, LA vinyl gods Burger Records have had to shut their famous green doors. Yet the gig still goes on: tomorrow Burger release QUARANTUNES: Songs From Self-Isolation, a seven-volume series featuring over songs by over 125 different artists, all written and recorded by the musicians at home during isolation.

Thought up as a way to help artists earn money through music while unable to play live, all funds from streaming and sales will go directly to the artists involved – with Burger Records covering all fees associated with posting and selling the music to maximise the amount artists earn. “It’s the best way we could think to support artists directly right now, by giving them another opportunity to make money with their music,” says Sean Bohrman of Burger Records.

Featuring original music from Burger Records’ killer roster – including Death Hags, King Khan, Uni Boys, Mattiel, C.J. McKnight and Dream Cars, amongst many, many more – each track is available on Burger’s Bandcamp page for $2.00, while QUARANTUNES volumes 1-7 can be purchased for $20.00 each. Support the artists, blast the tunes.
