Hey everyone. I hope you are safe and healthy and with plenty of food and toilet paper (but not too much) …with close loved ones but social distancing yourself from others. The first single and video, BY MYSELF from my upcoming album BLUSH is out now wherever music is streamed. I hope it can serve as a bit of company in these solitary times. Also merch for the new record is now available to order from my web sight in my bio. A portion of proceeds with go to the @foodbank4nyc I encourage direct donations as well. ❤️❤️❤️
Blush, out 19th June on Mom + Pop, includes Hawke’s 2019 singles Stay Open and By Myself (the latter is out now with a new video, below), and was produced collaboratively with US songwriter and producer Jesse Harris.
Speaking via Instagram Hawke celebrated the forthcoming release, saying “The first single and video, BY MYSELF from my upcoming album BLUSH is out now wherever music is streamed. I hope it can serve as a bit of company in these solitary times.”
In a separate statement, she added, “This album happened accidentally. From my point of view, Blush is a collection of secret messages, hidden communications with the people in my life.”
A portion of proceeds from the album will be donated to the Food Bank for New York City.
