Having hit reset on the Parisian house with his debut SS19 collection – shaping a new wave cool – one season later, Slimane built on that initial building block with meaning: a refrain with meaning – “J’ai un plan pour te garder” (translation: “I have a plan to keep you”) – rang out inside a specially constructed show venue. A statement of intent, Hedi Slimane’s FW19 plan unfolded across a collection that paid homage to the house’s founder Céline Vipiana: catering to a new Parisian bourgeoisie uprising – or indeed those who wish to play by their rules.

Titled the “16” collection, the accompanying campaign features models Lara and Karo photographed by Slimane in March 2019.

The FW19 collection will be available in stores and online from 19th August. The new Celine 103 Mount Street London store will be reopened after refurbishment on 2nd September.
