Jonathan Anderson has released his sophomore Eye/LOEWE/Nature collection, casting actor Russell Tovey and Olympian Ning Zetao in a new outdoor campaign.

First we travel to England’s southeast coast with Tovey, following the actor on a stroll across the ancient cliffs of Botany Bay and the nearby seaside town of Margate, where he is curating the art festival Margate NOW later this year. Then we head across to Basque city San Sebastián and Zumaia, Spain, with Chinese former world champion swimmer Zetao. The sportsman has recently joined the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals programme as an ambassador, appealing to eliminate plastic pollution and protect ocean environments.

Having started the menswear line as a uniform for rural escapades inspired by Anderson’s childhood adventures in rural Northern Ireland and a love for sports and the outdoors, this new FW19 collection builds on last year’s debut. Technical fabrics combine with practical design via waterproof parkas, seascape prints and knits created from blends of recycled and organic cotton, while calfskin leather hiking boots are essential for those with a sense of adventure.
