Baz Luhrmann is in the beginning stages of his forthcoming Elvis biopic and he’s yet to make the biggest decision: who’s going to play the King himself?

Well, according to the Hollywood Reporter, there are five actors in the running: Ansel Elgort, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Miles Teller, Austin Butler and Harry Styles. And while all five have at some point boasted an impressive Elvis-worthy quiff, each would offer a unique take on the iconic musician.

Their credentials? Elgort is currently gearing up to start shooting Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story, while Teller is set to appear in the anticipated Top Gun sequel.

Styles made his screen debut with an acclaimed appearance in 2017’s Dunkirk, Taylor-Johnson wowed in Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals (and played John Lennon in Sam Taylor-Johnson’s Nowhere Boy), and you’ll see Butler as the Manson Family’s Charles ‘Tex’ Watson in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

With Tom Hanks already signed up for the role as Col. Tom Parker, Presley’s infamous manager, the role of Elvis is expected to be filled in the coming weeks. Take a look at Elvis in full (pelvis) swing below and see who you think can match his moves…
